General Accountant  

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and reporting financial information for all company transactions

Main Duties

1.Manage all accounting transactions

2.Review submitted payment requests by various departments, and ensure they are in line with the company policies & procedures

3.Liaison to the Internal/External auditors’ requirements& inquires

4.Coordinate with the finance manager to prepare budgets.

5.Maintain and reconcile balance sheets and general ledger accounts

6. Assist in financial and tax audits, and general ledger preparation.

7.Complete end of month close procedures.

8.Review payment requests to ensure correctness and proper withholding tax deductions

9.Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings

10.Reconcile and resolve accounts payable and receivable issues or queries

11.Compute taxes and prepare tax returns

Requirements

1.B.Sc.  in Commerce /business administration: Major Accounting

2. Intermediate in English (Reading/ Writing/ Conversation)

3. MS Office / ERP system (especially Excel)
