The ideal candidate will provide first-line technical assistance to employees, resolving hardware, software, and network issues. The role involves troubleshooting, system maintenance, and ensuring smooth IT operations while delivering excellent user support.
Main Duties:
1.Diagnose and repair hardware/software faults (desktops, laptops, printers)
2.Resolve technical issues related to Windows/Linux/Mac OS, Office 365, and business applications.
3.Troubleshoot network issues (LAN/Wi-Fi/VPN, DNS, DHCP) and escalate complex problems.
4.Replace or repair faulty hardware components as needed.
5.Install, configure, and update operating systems, software, and drivers.
6.Support the roll-out of new applications and technologies.
7.Test and evaluate new technologies for compatibility and performance.
8.Speak to users to quickly identify root causes of problems.
9.Provide timely and accurate feedback to users and follow up to ensure resolution.
10.Manage Active Directory tasks (user accounts, permissions, password resets).
11.Ensure compliance with IT security policies (antivirus, patches, access controls).
Requirements
B.Sc. in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
1-3 years in tech support, desktop support, or help desk roles.
Proficiency in Windows/Linux/Mac OS and remote desktop tools (TeamViewer, Any Desk).
